Are a student in Calgary interested in physics or chemistry? Register for our newest in-person event. Learn about how you can achieve success academically in any science course. We will be hosting a contest as well to spice things up... you will be competing in duos. This is NOT an event you want to miss! March 24 (Sunday) is a CBE break, so this is your chance to take your knowledge to the next level and compete alongside your peers.
Event Schedule
Opening & Discussion
We will meet in B-16, and start with a discussion about why we study science.
Contest
The contest will consist of 10 written response questions that will test your ability to explain natural phenomena using theory.
Learning Strategies
The execs will share some learning strategies on how they achieved success. The solutions to three of the contest questions will be provided at the participants' request.
Awards Ceremony + Conclusion
The event will end with awards and a final message before we say goodbye!
